Mid-week Mindfulness online

A 30-minute pause for busy women
Online mindfulness sessions
Join us on Zoom at Noon on a Wednesday
This online mindfulness class is for busy women, from complete beginners to well-seasoned mindfulness meditators.

Give yourself the gift of 30 minutes of a well-earned mindfulness pause to restore, rest and rejuvenate.

The benefits

  • Discover the stress reduction health benefits of taking a mindfulness pause, resting the busy mind in the comfort of your own home.
  • Explore the benefits of a pause and leaning into the support of mindfulness and meditation, which may increase your energy and resilience.
  • Research shows that the practice of meditation and mindfulness can help your heart rate to balance by igniting the calming parasympathetic nervous system and encouraging slower, even and deeper breathing.
  • As you will be in your own home with the Zoom at Noon pause you can even have a cosy nap wrapped up in your favourite throw after the session – without having to go anywhere else!

What to expect

Each week, you’ll receive an email with the joining link to the Zoom meditation.

When you join, you’ll arrive in a waiting room. This ensures security for the group by making sure that no-one who is not a member can join.

The meditation will be recorded and will be emailed to you after each session. So, you can replay the session any time you like or – if you can’t attend one week – you can watch when you want, so you won’t miss out.

We start at noon. There are three parts to the 30-minute meditation. Each part will start with one ring of a soft bell and end with three rings:

The first part: A 5-minute pause of a guided sit to breathe, arrive and land into the present moment.

The second part: A 5-minute talk on mindfulness – perhaps a poem, story or a technique for you to try between sessions.

The third part: A long, guided, relaxing meditation of at least 20 minutes, when you can get cosy and lie down and relax or sit and meditate.

At the end of the relaxation, you can choose to leave the meeting and have a catnap, or re-emerge from your relaxation and join in a closing technique.

Unlike other Zoom groups you have perhaps joined, there will be no chat with each other and you will not see others attending the group. Both your camera and microphone will be turned off and the Zoom chat line will not be open. This will give you the space to allow yourself to simply be and rest without distraction.

How to prepare for the class

You are investing these 30 minutes in you. Give yourself the space to rest, restore and rejuvenate. Here are some pointers to reduce any possible distractions:

  • Ensure those you share your home with are aware that you won’t be available for 30 minutes.
  • Mute your mobile phone.
  • Ask yourself “How do I need to experience the meditations today?” Do you want to sit in a chair or on the floor on a cushion or lie on the floor and cosy up with your favourite throw?
  • Do you need a glass of water, a comfort break etc?

Timing of the class

To keep the time to 30 minutes, there will be no opportunity for questions etc. However, please do email me if you have any questions after the meditation.

Upcoming dates

Promote the group and gain rewards

Part of my ethos for business is that when we support each other we gain from that sharing.

When you recommend this group to someone else and they sign up for an 8-week block of Zoom at Noon pauses, I’ll send you a £10 discount voucher as a thank you. You can use up to four vouchers against the cost of your next 8-week block, a 1-to-1 mindfulness coaching session or a backpack half-day retreat.

How to get your voucher

  1. When you recommend the group to your contact/s, please remember to give them your full name and email. Your contact/s will need to include this information when they register in order for you to receive your voucher/s.
  2. I will email you your voucher code/s.
  3. On your booking form for your next 8-week block, enter your voucher code/s. (If you want to use your vouchers towards the cost of a 1-to-1 mindfulness coaching session or a backpack half-day retreat, email me  instead.)
  4. If more than 4 of your contacts have registered, you will still get all your vouchers – but you will only be able to use 4 for any one transaction.

What next?

Between most 8-week blocks, there will be a break of 4 weeks. Wondering what to do in between times? Dive a bit deeper into mindfulness…

Retreats on Zoom

This is an opportunity to dive in and explore and understand the amazing benefits of mindfulness on a half-day 3-hour retreat on a Saturday morning or afternoon.

This will be a small group of no more than 5. There will be a gathering time of 20 minutes before the start of the retreat when you can meet, chat and maybe make new friends from the Zoom at Noon over a cuppa.

Unlike other groups that I currently run, there will be no feedback or questions during the class. This is so those attending can simply be, switch off and relax. So, if it feels right for you, you can close your eyes for 30 minutes. Should anyone have a question etc., they can email or text me after the class.
