Life coaching for stress reduction
Is it time for you “not merely to survive, but to thrive, and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style”? Maya Angelou
How would your life be if you lived a life you loved rather than waiting until the time was right?
Life coaching for stress reduction is an investment in you. Give yourself the space of quality time and the opportunity to review where you are now—what’s working and what isn’t. You’ll be encouraged to set your intentions and the outcomes you want from your coaching sessions.
I’m here to support you on your way and ensure you have a backpack of techniques and a map of understanding to get you to where you want to be.
Life coaching for stress reduction is for you if:
- You’re facing change and you’re not sure which direction to take
- Your coping strategies feel as if they are no longer working but, rather, adding to your stress levels
- You find your self-confidence and self-esteem has taken a bit of a knock
- A deep restful night’s sleep feels like a distant memory!
About my coaching style
My style of coaching is drawn from my professional training and my own personal journey (you can read about my training and my journey here). The foundation of my coaching style comes mainly from mindfulness.
My goal is to support you to:
- Take a pause and step out of the rush of life and feelings of scarcity of time
- Know and understand how to accomplish what you desire in life—without feeling compressed, stressed, overburdened or hurried but with fulfilment, peace, energy and engagement
- Fall in love with your life again.
To ensure I am the best coach for you, I offer a complementary 15–20 minute enquiry session that can be face-to-face or on-line. Get in touch to book your complementary session.
What to expect from a life coaching session
During the initial session you’ll be taken through three stages:
Stage one: Together we’ll make an assessment of what’s happening in your life, to gain an understanding of how you came to your present situation. We’ll also explore the impact the present situation has on you.
Stage two: We’ll assess what’s working, what needs improving and perhaps what can be put aside for the present. From here we can help you decide where and how you would like to change and improve your present situation.
Stage three: Finally, with support from your coach, you’ll develop a plan of action to enable these changes and improvements to be put into place in manageable steps.
After this and each subsequent session, you’ll receive an email summary of the session, outlining any agreed actions steps you need to take before your next coaching session.
The initial appointment is 90 minutes; follow-up sessions are 60 minutes, although some clients prefer to continue with a 90 minute slot.
Your sessions can be face-to-face at the Edinburgh Centre of Nutrition & Therapy, Tollcross, or on-line.
Costs
Initial appointment (90 minutes): £75
Follow-up appointments (60 minutes): £60
